Wouldn’t it be wonderful if we could just take a tablet and shed twenty pounds overnight? There are companies that actually advertise these outrageous claims but what’s worse, we believe them. Our bodies are designed to extract certain vitamins, minerals and fats from the food we eat and ship them to the correct organs and cells for good function. There are fast ways to lose weight without damaging our bodies but it does take work.

Mindset and Determination

Let’s say that you have an event approaching and want to shed twenty pounds in three months. This isn’t an unrealistic goal. Losing twenty pounds in two weeks is pretty unbelievable and unhealthy for your body. It can be done but your body will strike back and your big day will find you tired and ill. What fun is that?
